Trials to be paid at time of trial

Travel charge is that of 25p per mile after 10 miles from my home in Lydney
A non-refundable deposit of fifty pounds is required with confirmation of booking. This will be deducted from your final bill.
For weddings over 25miles from GL15 a minimum of 3 makeups is required. This can be anyone from the bridal party or guests.
If a hair stylist is required to assist me I will send their quote along with mine.
I will ask the photographer for professional images to use for advertising and social media. If you do not wish me to use these please let me know by email
Method of payments include: Cash, Cheque or Bank Transfer. Cheque must be sent 2 weeks before wedding date. Bank transfer must be cleared one week before wedding day. Cash to be paid on the day.
Cancelation of the wedding day incurs a charge of 50% of the total booking fee if 4 weeks’ notice is given. If less than 4 weeks’ notice is given then the total cost is payable.
Quote does not include airfares, accommodation, meals, transfers, parking or other sundry expenses not expressly included in the quote.
In the unlikely event that illness prevents me from being able to attend the wedding I will do my best to find another fully qualified makeup artist. If I am unable to do this you will receive a full refund of your paid deposit.
I will arrive 15 minutes earlier than agreed ‘start time’ to set up

The Easy Bit – Our Terms
These apply to all Makeup Lane Consulting Ltd bookings, including but not limited to; weddings, editorial bookings, shoot bookings, lessons and demonstrations
Booking Process To secure a wedding date booking, clients must pay a deposit of 25% which can be paid via BACS or cheque. This deposit will be deducted from your final payment.
Please note that the booking is not confirmed until the deposit is paid in full and a booking form has been completed in full on line.
Payment The deposit is payable to Makeup Lane Ltd via BACS or cheque. As soon as the deposit has been paid your wedding date is booked for yourself and yourself only. A trial date will then be arranged which works with yourself and Jody.
Once arranged the trial invoice will be sent to you and is to be paid in full prior to your trial date. The remaining balance is payable to Makeup Lane Ltd once you have had your trial, this final balance is to be paid in full prior to your wedding date.
All booking information has to be confirmed at the trial, this includes all number of other bridal members. You may add to your booking after the trial but will not be able to deduct from your booking.
Late / Last minute bookings
A booking for a wedding will be considered late or last minute if the enquiry or the booked date for the trial is within two months of the wedding, we will ask for both the wedding day and trial to be paid for upfront.
Additional Costs Services held at the studio hold no travel costs. All travel costs are worked out from the distance from our studio postcode to the venue where Jody is required and return.
Cancellation fees If for some reason you wish to cancel your wedding booking, your cancellation must be confirmed by email as soon as possible. Your 25% deposit will be retained. If you cancel within two months of the wedding date the final invoice amount will not be refunded given the short notice.
If Makeup Lane can’t carry out services booked due to illness or injury a full refund of the final invoice will be given.
International Weddings & Events Client to cover all costs of travel & accommodation. This includes costs of any cancellation of travel & accommodation arrangements.
A non-refundable deposit is taken of £100 per day of travel, payable on booking which will subsequently be deducted from the value of the final invoice.
General The client hereby acknowledges that while the application of makeup & hair styling is generally regarded as safe, that allergies, or reactions to makeup products (including, but not limited to: cream makeups, liquid latex, spirit gum, spirit gum remover, hairspray, hair mousse and all other fx makeup & Hair products); reactions can sometime occur.
Makeup Lane Consulting Ltd carefully considered all risks involved in managing this activity, and do not consider Makeup Lane Limited and their respective employees/freelancers negligent in respect of any personal injury which could result from participation in this service.
We hereby acknowledge that all brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application.
Any skin condition that the client has or others in the booking’s party (including but not limited to bridesmaids, mothers of the bride, flower girls, models) should be reported by the client to Makeup Lane Limited & the artist prior to application and, if required or requested, prior to the client’s shoot, trial, event or wedding day; a sample test of makeup may need to be performed on the skin to test reaction.
I understand that Makeup Lane Limited and their respective employees and or freelancers are not held responsible for complications that may result in leaving the event or session without assisted removal of product including, but not limited to: cream makeups, liquid latex, spirit gum, spirit gum remover and all other fx makeup products.
I hereby agree that Makeup Lane Limited may, with the persons consent, use on it’s website – and/or in any brochure, flyers, social media or other advertising it deems necessary – all photographs, video, audio, and any other digitally or chemically stored media that is captured or recorded of my event by Makeup lane Limited and any and all of their employees, freelancers or students.
The client takes responsibility for informing these terms to all members of their parties partaking in services provided by Makeup Lane Consulting Limited under their booking.
